* Concept of maintenance
Maintenance of elevators refers to all kinds of activities such as preventive maintenance and repairs such as daily inspections and regular inspections, which are performed so that elevators can be used safely and normally for a given life span.
The elevator maintenance is, in principle, the responsibility of the supervising entity such as the elevator owner under Article 2 (4) of the Act on Manufacture and Management of Elevators (hereinafter referred to as "the Boards Act").
However, in order to carry out the maintenance efficiently, we are entrusted to the qualified person in general.
* The need for maintenance
Generally, since elevators are operated by unspecified users without driver, a separate maintenance system is required to maintain the performance of the equipment
In particular, maintenance of safety devices is indispensable for the safety of the user, as it will cause safety accidents if the safety devices such as wire rope door switches, door interlocks, brakes and governors are not prevented. Therefore, in order to prevent personal injury and property damage caused by the elevator operation, it is necessary to make partial adjustments including maintenance of electrical and mechanical performance, change and adjustments accordingly.
